1.1.0 – Projects, Planner & Signup Flow Enhancements

This update brings polished UI improvements to the Projects and Planner view, smarter onboarding during signup, and the official launch of our /release-notes versioning page. It’s part of our push to improve everyday usability while laying the foundation for transparent product releases.

✨ Application Updates (Frontend)

  • ✅ Added a public /release-notes page to showcase version history and release notes.
  • ✅ Each update is powered by a dedicated .md file and presented with clean, readable formatting.
  • ✅ Created individual version pages at /release-notes/[version-and-slug] for direct linking.

🧭 Dashboard Improvements

  • 🏠 Clicking the TechStride logo on the dashboard now routes to the homepage (/).
  • 👤 On the signup page, users can now:
    • ✅ Select just one role (minimum requirement reduced from three).
    • ✅ Choose “Other” as a role option for more flexibility.
  • 📱 Mobile navigation menu spacing in the Header has been cleaned up for a better look and feel.

🗂️ Planner Improvements

  • 🗑️ Removed the redundant "View Project" link from milestone cards.
  • 🏷️ Added a small, subtle project name label in place of the removed link.
  • 💬 Clicking a milestone card now opens a modal with milestone details, enhancing clarity and interaction.
  • 🧠 Data-driven design: milestone modals pull from the structured object data for a dynamic and maintainable UI.

🔔 Notifications Update

  • 🚀 Moving the notification feature to update 1.1.0.
  • 📣 If a user selects any notification that is not yet configured, the UI will prompt for their information, save it, and notify them that when the feature is released, it will be automatically applied to their account without notice.

📌 Milestone UI Update on Projects View

  • 🔄 Changed all milestone inputs to a more user-friendly view.
